Cold, Cold, New Years Eve

On New Years Eve, I filled up a thermos full of coffee, and took a long train ride to a decent walk partway up a mountain, and I sat there in the cold. And it was cold. I ended up pacing back and forth for a while, stopping and taking some photos, then drinking coffee, and pacing some more, until sunrise. It was freezing, but after all these years, I finally took those "first sunrise of the year" photos. I learned that my boots and my jacket aren't going to cut it in the really cold weather. But I got the photos. I posted one when I got home after being up for 24 hours... and then I slept hard. Here's hoping I'm as lucky with the rest of 2019.
